• I am having issues resetting passwords for users of our site. I have created user logins for each of our employees and when they can’t remember their passwords that they create, I am not sure on how to resend their password. I have to delete their user information and recreate their user login etc. So, i was wondering if there is something that i am missing? Or, if it is something to do with the ThriveThemes i am using?

Also, when our users try to use the “forgot password?” button, it doesn’t do anything besides redirect them to the same page they were on to register.

Please just let me know, thanks!

I’m not sure why you would need to do that. At the very least you can create a password for the user on the admin side user profile. That’s part of WordPress.

The plugin’s forgot password reset needs to be set up correctly for it to work. The link is generated based on the page you have set in the plugin’s settings for User Profile Page. This should be the page that you have set up the [wp-members page="user-profile"] shortcode. If pages are blocked by default, this page should be set as unblocked.

    <span style="color: #000000;">[wp-members page="user-profile"]</span>

That is what i have in the shortcode area for the reset password. It is not showing up on the page as black text, however, it is showing up as white text. Is there something that may be causing this from other themes?

If you are using the default stylesheet for the plugin, font color is defined in the stylesheet. You can try one of the others, or create a custom stylesheet.
