User Password in Backend Not Available

    According to

    To Change Your Password
    To change your password in current versions:

    In the Admin Panel menu, go to USERS
    Click on your username in the list to edit
    In the Edit User screen, scroll down to the New Password section and type in a new password in the two boxes provided. The strength box will show how good (strong) your password is.
    Click the UPDATE PROFILE button

    Specifically in step #3 it reads “type in a new password”. I am unable to do this on my version of WordPress for any user.

    How can I fix this?
