User notification of Role Change S2members

I am wondering if there is a simple way to notify members that their role (level) has been changed in S2members. They register as a free subscriber, then when their paid association membership is verified, we elevate them to bronze so they can access member only areas. Can S2members or WordPress send them an automatic notice at this change or must we email them manually
