User not logged in to FB, no prompt to login?

I just noticed that if user isn’t logged in, then there is no prompt to log into facebook. The comment box is there – you can type in it, but when you click “comment”, nothing happens.
I do happen to have a facebook fan box widget below it – is this an iframe conflict?
