SCENARIO: User comes from SITE A (logged in) to SITE B and it sees them logged in. They suddenly get logged out on other pages within SITE B, so if they click Login and try and log into SITE B (where the sync was carried over to) they are unable to – credentials are not recognized.

    No Frasashi,

I figured if in the chance it doesn’t carry the user logged-in info (mentioned int he above link), they could just go into SITE B’s /wp-login.php and login there, but they can’t use the same username/password that was carried from SITE A to SITE B from your script. That’s why I opened a new ticket.

I understand. In that case its better to define a “master” domain and lead the users to the same login form on every installations.

Otherwise as you said, they will have to set a password on the 2nd installation because the user has been created without.

Forcing the main login url could be a useful improvement. Added to the TODO list, thanks.

I have first developed this plugin to provide connection between a distribution website (frontend) and a SaaS provider (backend).

Final users were not supposed to login from the SaaS provider.

No problem. I’ll set the link on SITE B to forward to the wp-login.php on SITE A. I’ll also try setting up a redirect the same in CPanel.

    Great!

Lets make it work from A to B first ??

    I concur.

Since users do not login from SITE B, let’s consider this support ticket “RESOLVED” and Informational Only to other plugin users.
