User Nickname filled by default

  • Hello,
    I have made a mistake when created a new user on WP so I have deleted immediately and now I want to created it again and give another nickname but with a letter in less. The thing is that WP is filling automatically this letter that I don’t want in the nickname. And there is no way to write the nickname as I want. Is there any way to fix this ?

  • Yes, WordPress creates the initial value of the nickname automatically for a new user.
    After you saved the new user information, only the username is not changeable. You should be able to change the nickname via the User Edit screen.
