User name & password not recognised

I am infrequent blogger. Just visited my site to find the predictable version update and suggestion to backup before updating. Went to check backups and discovered they’ve all failed since April. Attempting a manual backup I received the message that the username and password was not recognised. I’ve logged onto the Online Backup for WP site using my username and password, but can’t find how to re-link this to my WP site. I must be missing something obvious, but I can’t find how to enter the details on my WP dashboard or on the website. Any ideas?
