User Name lost

  • I posted this yesterday but don’t see it.
    WorkPress was a part of my Webpage Host, Ipowerweb.
    I had not accessed WordPress for a few months and have forgotten the User Name.
    Admin does not work.
    I can access the WordPress files through and FTP but can find anything about user name.

  • your login and password are stored inside the MySQL databse, just like everything else.

    How would I find and open the MySQL database to see what the user name is?
    Also I do not need to change the password.

    I had looked at it but just thought it was about changing passwords
    So I followed the directions most closely and found the user name.
    But it still doesn’t work. Change the password and it still doesnt work, just getting the same error message

    I created another WordPress page and that one works.
