    User Meta Shortcode is not a plugin.

    Neither is it an Extension.

    In your documentation, you called it a plugin, as can be seen here — https://prnt.sc/WQf4xnOEMtEI

    But when I downloaded the Zip file from GitHub and tried to install it as a plugin, it failed by saying “No valid plugins were found” — as you can see here — https://prnt.sc/A7wYIfEAXWzs

    I believe that User Meta Shortcode is not a plugin, and neither is it an Extension ( kind of ), but just Code snippets that enhances Ultimate Member.

    It seems you have to update your documentation and call it “Code snippets” –which it really is, rather than calling it a plugin or an Extension, which is quite misleading, as it equally misled me!

    Did you follow instructions in the Installation Guide? Maybe you tried to use the common ZIP file with multiple extensions inside, not the individual ZIP file with a single extension inside.

    You can use individual extensions or plugins in the /Extended/src/ directory, and upload them to your site. For example, If you only need the Browser Detect plugin:

    • Click on the Individual-Extensions.zip to download the extensions.
    • After downloading, extract the file. The resulting extraction forms a folder named “assets” containing separate ZIP files for each basic extension.?
    • Upload it to your site by selecting only the um-browser-detect zip and once the plugin is uploaded and activated, it will automatically enable all features & functionalities related to the plugin/extension.

    But when I place a shortcode on my Page, as you can see here — https://prnt.sc/iAnklLT-Wfwk

    nothing shows up on the frontend, as you can see here — https://prnt.sc/NNDipXDjD2pU

    Please, how do I fix this?

    Hello @mionigba

    The shortcode displays nothing if the meta is empty for the specified user. The user_id attribute is required if you use this shortcode out of profile.
