User login redirect back of the last page

  • Hi!
    How can i redirect the user when login my website to back of the last page?
    The example the user in the movie page, but the movie only for the logged in users can view.. The user is clicked the login, the user is logged in and how can i redirect back of the movie? Now if the user is logged in redirect the home page.. And its not the best solution, not comfortable..

    The redirection should work when there’s redirec_to parameter in the Login page Url e.g. https://www.yoursitedomain/login/?redirect_to=youriste.com/movie/123/

    Does it contain the sample URL above with the parameter?

    Hi. Thanks for the reply!
    The page I want to redirect to is not a specific page..
    But, for example, if the user is on the About Us page and logs in to your account then redirect to the About Page. If the user on movies page and logs in redirect back of the movies page..
    The redirect is work fine but I couldn’t find an opportunity.
    I hope its understandable, what I want..

    Your login menu link should have the redirect_to parameter that has the current page URL:

    E.g. <a href="HTTP://yoursite.com/login/?redirect_to=yoursite.com/about/">Login</a>

    That’s not what he’s asking. He wants the visitor to remain on whatever page they were previously on when they clicked the login link.

    There is a setting in User Roles (Action to be taken after login), but it doesn’t work. I have mine set to “Refresh Active Page” but it always takes visitors to their profile after logging in instead of remaining on the current page.

    @catalano Yeah, thats what i asking.. ??
    But my English is not so good.. :/ And it’s bad that the Admin closes the topic when I haven’t received a solution.
