User logged in to Gravity Forms

  • Hello, good morning
    I had a question. I am using logged in user mode

    The problem I’m having is that I’m connecting a Gravity form.

    I want to change the user role of the person who submitted the form after the form is approved.

    Is this possible? Because everything I do now just changes my user role.

    Hi @saeed20100, sorry for the delayed reply!

    You should be able to use the trigger “A user submits a form” and the action “Change the user’s role to a new role” to change the role of the user that submitted the form.

    However, since you mentioned “…after the form is approved”, it sounds like you might be using an addon to require approval of the form submission before the role change is processed. If you’re the one approving the submission with the addon it’s possible Uncanny Automator is attributing the submission to your user.

    Could you give us a bit more info about how form submissions are approved and/or what plugin you’re using for that?
