User location map hooks not working

Hello, I am displaying the UM user location map via shortcode but my hooks aren’t working. The shortcode I am using is [um_user_locations_map field="LO_map_location" lat="35.2" lng="-106.699790" zoom="7" height="600" marker_type="classic"]? and follows the instructions in the UM article: https://docs.ultimatemember.com/article/1698-user-locations-shortcodes

I am trying to apply the user location map hook um_user_locations_customize_03 to restrict min and max zoom, set default zoom, and disable Street View function. I have applied “Example #3” from UM’s documentation in my functions.php: https://docs.ultimatemember.com/article/1728-user-locations-hooks

But this has no effect on the map. Can anyone tell me what I’m doing wrong?
