User like comments

Is there a way to enable users to comment about the article that they just liked. When I like an article on my website, I see a pop-up and then it disappears and a confirm link is left where the like button was, and the like doesn’t even go through to FB. I don’t want this to happen. I want a little box to come up with a brief article summary, and a dialogue box, so users can comment about the article, and then confirm a like.
