User Levels for “security clearance”

  • Greeting. I am interested in using User Levels in conjunction with the ViewLevels plugin to determine who is able to view certain posts on my page. However, I don’t want everyone over level 0 to become an author.
    Is there a hack out that will fix this problem? For example, only level 9 users could be authors, or something to that effect?
    I’m open to all suggestions, many thanks.

  • If I’m not mistaken (someone please correct me if I am), you have to be a level 1 or above to post. Level 0 can’t do anything

    Correct, the problem is I need users at various levels who have access to different posts using the ViewLevel plug in., without being able to post.
