User Levels

  • I want to create a blog that is protected from unregistered users so only those who are registered users can view the entries.
    Is there a way to do this?

  • The first thing that pops to mind is use server side authentication. The reason that I say this is that while WP does have password protected entries that can be to say the least tedious to do for every entry. So you need to password protect the directory that you have WP installed.
    Depending on your Hosting Service server side authentication can be done by IIS and Apache.
    So the question is what does your hosting service offer?
