We have a user who was redirected to wp-login.php with reauth=1, but since we have used WP Cerber to change the login address, they get a 404.

Is there a way to prevent this problem? I have asked them to send me their IP address so that I can whitelist them, but I am not sure that they will always be at the same address.

You need to turn off “Disable wp-login.php (Block direct access to wp-login.php and return HTTP 404 Not Found Error)” in the main settings.

P.S. It makes no sense to enable the custom login page and have the default wp-login.php in place.

Regarding your P.S. ,are you hinting that we should also turn off our custom login page?

Obviously the “Disable wp-login.php” options and the custom login page must work for some websites. What might our site be doing that is incompatible with them?

Not sure if this matters, but our user made a few posts before this issue turned up. It seemed to be working until just recently.

    Thank you!
