Do you mean with “Subsites” other sites in backend of WP?
I have tested with the current verison of the plugin and WP 3.6-Beta – it works on all subpages, without the settings page of Adminimize.

Maybe you have active a cache for backend.

Sorry for jumping in to your conversation manyu.singhal but I think we are facing a similar issue here so maybe my clarification to Frank will help…

In my case there is WP 3.5.1 with network/multisite enabled and Adminimize 1.8.4. When editor logins to the blog/site admin back-end he doesn’t see the ‘Hello user’ menu on the top right corner at all (this menu also includes the important log-out option ?? ).

It seems like Adminimize hides completely the ‘hello user’ menu in admin backend for non-administrator users and regardless of the User-Info settings in Adminimize setting page. When Adminimize is disabled this menu appears again as expected. Same happens in 1.8.3 and 1.8.4.

Exactly. I have the same condition. ??

I have set the User Info Area to default in my main as well as subsite.
The administrator back-end shows Hello User.
The Adminimize settings page in the sub sites shows only Log Out.
The rest of the pages in sub sites shows nothing.

    No problem, cybup. ??

Ah, Maybe now I have understand the problem.
This is only on MU Installs, for users there have access to a blog inside the network?

I have also check on Network activation form the plugin, settings are active for “only logout”. Works on Admin and Editor role.
Also I checked in single install, works also fine.
see: Background-screen is from Admin and fronten from editor role.

    Maybe you caching topics?

It seems to work fine on a fresh installation with only Adminimize plugin activated so maybe this is due to conflict with other plugin(s). I’ll check this direction and will update soon.

I found it at last! and in my case it was NOT due to conflict with other plugins NOR caching.

In the Adminimize setting page under ‘Admin Bar Options’ there is ‘(top-secondary)’ option that hides the ‘hello user / logout’ menu on the admin bar. When this setting is used (i.e. deactivated for specific role) it takes over the ‘User-Info’ settings (as expected) HOWEVER it affects ALL blogs in the network rather than the specific blog where this option was set.

Frank, if you need more information let me know… and thanks for a very useful plugin!

manyu.singhal, hope it helps you and others ??

    Worked for me, too!

    Thanks, cybup. ??
