User in wp vs FE users

    Hi,

    Yesterday I installed your plugin to use it with the plugin eventon (https://www.myeventon.com). I would like users only to stay front end.
    In the premium version I see it is possible to ‘Create WordPress User’.

    How will this work in relation to de eventon plugin? I used the additional plugin for rsvp (https://www.myeventon.com/addons/rsvp-events/). So users can sign in for an event. Only wp-users can sign in.

    My questions are:
    1) When I buy the premium version and use this option. Will my password in FE user be the same as it is in WordPress?
    2) And what happens when I change the password? Will it directly be changed for wordpress so the user doesn’t have to log in twice?
    3) Do you have some experience with this eventon module?

    Hi Bas,

    We haven’t tested our plugin with EventOn, so it would be hard to say if or how well they would work in tandem. Our plugin does have public functions available, which you can make use of in your template files to serve specific content to logged-in users or users that meet specific criteria. You can take a look at the tutorial video we created for this to see how it works: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bKiJAjq7PhQ.

    1) The password for the WordPress account that gets created will be the same as the password that the user chose on registration with our plugin.

    2) After the initial account creation, the passwords are separate. You would have to change them independently.

    3) Unfortunately, we don’t have experience with EventOn and, as we mentioned above, we haven’t tested it with our plugin.

    I am Premium user for this plugin and i am also facing the same problem as like @neiltomlow ,
    i need to have the username (after adding a user with F-E Users) be a fieldname of username instead of EWD_FEUP_10.
    i am using it for my forum site so the wordpress user name should be same as username given at the time of registration.because user will post there so there username or name should be display on there post.

    please reply me quickly my site is in production so instant support is Appriciated.

    What you’re looking for isn’t currently possible for the reasons we mentioned in the other thread, the one dedicated to it.
