User Group

    Yeah, I don’t know what you mean by “group” so I assume that it isn’t something standard to WordPress. You can list/order users by user meta… Take a look at the FAQ for that.

    Here is a list of User Group plugin :

    It is very close to Roles but with a different approach.

    Role are capabiliti based, and groups are identy based.

    So, we can define a role “student”, and a lot of different group just as “boy” “girl” “ground school” “high school” “university student” etc, with the same role ability but different content access.

    Sure, it could be achieve by using role only, but group can have Team Leaders, and other nice functionnalities for community. And they can be in several groups.

    Glad that worked out. I’m not familiar enough with the Groups plugin to have been able to offer much help otherwise. I look forward to seeing the end result!
