User Generated Form Templates

    Firstly, I recognize that this is outside of the scope for the free version of this plugin, but nothing asked is nothing gained. Your support has been great so far helping me with solutions to minor plugin customizations so far.

    At the moment, there is not a way for users to create their own form templates. Is there a work around that has been developed for a user to create templates? I can modify the plugin files itself to make what I want work, but I’m not at all keen on doing that (security, plugin updates, etc).

    If there isn’t such a solution, I would love to send this in as a feature request!

    Hi @greenrooster,

    I’m afraid that there’s no option to have user generated templates at the moment, or an easy way of custom coding it.

    Forminator does have Export/Import option that you can use as templates, or you can use Duplicate option that is available by clicking on Gear icon next to your form.
    So for example, you can have form named “Template – Contact form” and then duplicate that form in order to create new one which you can further edit.
