I read the documentation but I am not sure if I can do what I want. I want to enable a logged in User to create albums and upload images from the front end. We want to create a album with photos in it of different events as they happen once a month. We would like to assign a specific person (our photographer) the task of creating the albums and uploading the photos without access to the back end. Is this possible?

    Yes, that is possible.

    I suggest the following settings:

    – NO ticks in Table VII-A: Admin settings per user role.
    – Tick Table VII-B: 1, 1.1, 1.2, 2
    – Tick Table VII-D: 1.1, 1.2
    – Set Table VII-D2.1 to Classic to give him maximum photo editability.
    – Set Table VII-D2.2 to Admin and superuser
    – Set Table II-D19 to anything else but None
    – Make the photographer a wppa superuser in Table VII-D11.

Make at least one album, the superuser will see upload, edit and create subalbum links on the album cover, and the thumbnail areas.

Optionally add an upload widget. It should automatically show only to him and you.
