User files download

  • Dear Support!

    First, thank you for Ultimate Member plugin! I use it to make my users to complete an inquiry within they need to upload more PDF documents. The uploaded documents can be seen in uploads/ultimatemember/xy folder where xy is their user IDs. Files shown there via ftp client. They can be downloaded and opened via FTP. I also could retreive the url of theese files correctly. But when I put it into a download link in wp-admin users section (user-edit.php) among other custom user datas to be shown the download doesn’t work. The pdf icon shows on the bottom of my browser (Chrome) but it shows download failed message although the url the link points to is correct.
    Is that a plugin issue or wordpress global settings or maybe something with the server?
