    Hi,
is it possible to create an additional field, that is not shown to the subscriber (I want to make some comments by myself)?
And ?? after creating a field in the subscription form I find no way to delete it again … so that it is not shown on the user administration form.
    Thank you in advance
    Norbert

    Hi there @norbertenz,

Thank you for reaching out to us!

is it possible to create an additional field, that is not shown to the subscriber (I want to make some comments by myself)?

You could possibly add a custom field and hide it on the frontend with a CSS code. Although assistance with custom code is a bit outside of our scope of support, I could take a quick look if you can add the custom field and send me the link to the page where the form is placed. I can hopefully help you with the CSS code.

To make sure I understand, do you mean that you’d like to have a

Here you can see details on removing custom fields from your subscription forms:

…thank you for the quick response.

the field appears i.e. on this page:
    https://ukutro.de/nl-verwalten/
and I can’t reach this via the forms-Menu, because its stored in the page pool and referrs via code to the mailpoet form.

But, I want to use the field (so maybe its not necassary to delete it completely), but don’t want to show it in the forms, which appears to the user during the registration and anministration process.
    Thank you in advance

    Hi there @norbertenz,

The site is in German, but it looks like the form you are looking to edit is in the Manage Subscription page, right?

To hide a field for the user but display it in the WP Admin Dashboard it would require a level of customization that’s a bit outside the scope of this support.

You may want to reach out to someone from Codeable: https://codeable.io.

And this page should be a good starting point: https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/222-customize-your-manage-subscription-page

    Hi and thank you!

Yes, right, it appears in this form.

Ok, I understand, that this is no basic function and outside of your support.

So for now I can go on without this field, but how can I remove it completely (not only from the form, but overall), so that it is no longer in the MP-System.

    Thank you again

    Hi Norbert,

Yes, I got it. In this case, still, you need to follow the instructions from the article I shared above.

If you don’t have any MailPoet form at the moment, please create one just to remove the custom field, and then you can delete it.
