• This plugin allows you to quickly setup a simple quiz with multiple questions. It works as intended. There are a couple things I’d like to see available.

For better user experience, I’d like to have the option of either showing the Start Quiz button or the quiz questions to spare the users an extra click especially if the quiz is simple having only a couple questions.

The quiz assumes the answers to be either correct or wrong, there for the keywords correct / wrong are hard coded in the template. I’d like the flexibilty to totally write in what the result response to be and rid off correct/wrong words.

    Thank you

    Hi Skylabb,

Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review about your experience.

On the premium version of Quiz Cat, there is the option of having the first question appear instead of the Start Quiz button.

For changing the text elements of the different parts of the quiz such as correct / wrong, we have these instructions here – https://fatcatapps.com/knowledge-base/change-text-elements/

Thanks again for giving you feedback.

All the best and have a good week.

Thanks for the response. The cheat sheet of text customization using shortcode is very handy. Will add back one review star for this.

As for hiding the Start Quiz button, I feel this is a basic yet essential feature and should not be available only in commercial version. Serious users for serious projects are more likely to need for example, lots more quiz questions, various types of quiz, different design template, etc – so these are the things that are more appropriately be limited in the free version.

    Hi Skylabb,

Thanks for getting back to me.

I understand where you are coming from. It is a fine balancing act when deciding what features should go in the free vs premium plugins which all software creators attempt to find a solution to.

    Thanks again for the review.

    Best.
