    Hi,

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

Unfortunately, I have bad news though. It is not possible to edit tables from the frontend, and it most likely won’t be in the future. The reason for this is that this would bring very complex issues with it, that affect the core internals of how the table data is saved. Therefore, tables can only be edited on the “Edit” screen in the admin area.
I hope that TablePress is still useful for you.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Sorry to trouble you.
It does not help to solve these problems?

    Or have I misunderstood?

That’s the closet I’ve seen, but I’m looking for something that does math as well. Multiply columns together, get averages, etc. But that one may work if I can’t find one that does what I need.

TablePress can not have user feedback. You can not make it so that the user can add to the table a row of data, for that would organize the store, poll or quiz.
But believes the data using formulas TablePress well. Almost like Exel.

If we could get the answer the user and save it to the table it would be very good. With TablePress we could process the received data as we want. And not, as we are allowed to plug-ins for different stores, polls and quizzes.
This opportunity would give us a lot of freedom to WordPress.

    Hi,

yes, the DataTables Editor script is very nice, but it also won’t work with TablePress out of the box. It’s more targetted directly at mySQL tables.

Unfortunately, editing tables from the frontend brings a lot of problems and issues that have to be thought through thoroughly. That’s why I’m reluctant to adding support for that.

    Regards,
    Tobias
