Is it possible to create a column with cells that a user can edit when viewing the table?

Each table will be user specific, but I’d like for them to be able to add a comment. So one column would have editable cells, but the rest would not be editable.

    Hi,

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

No, sorry, something like this is not possible with TablePress. Tables can only be edited in full on the “Edit” screen.

    Regards,
    Tobias

That’s understandable. Is it possible to allow the user to hide a row when viewing the table? Or is it safe to say that all editing has to happen on the back end?

    Hi,

you could hide a row when inserting the Shortcode into a page, like

    [table id=123 hide_rows=4,7-10 /]

but that’s not possible to do for the visitor. So, yes, all editing has to happen in the admin area.

    Regards,
    Tobias
