Though the form submits properly and the admin is notified of the information, the user is not sent the e-mail.

“Is this an e-mail address?” has been checked under Field Settings.

I have heard some talk about a check box that says “Email User?” or some such thing but I cannot find this supposed feature under Form Settings.

Any help would be much appreciated as soon as possible!

    Thank You.

As long as you have a email field with that box checked, a proper from email set in the form settings, and the user submits a valid email address they should receive it.

Have you tried different user emails to see if you get different results?

Can you say how this was resolved? I am running into the same issue and I’m sure I’m simply missing something but wanted to see if I could get a hint… Thx.

    Me too.
I just set up Ninjaforms and really like it, except that user-email notification doesn’t seem to work. I’ve tried filling-in the forms using several different email accounts. None of them receives a message.
    The admin-notification works fine.

Just in case anyone else comes across this problem & is on a test server (ie:Localhost & not live) then this probably won’t work.
This is because it’s unlikely you have any kind of mail server set up on your PC.

The reason I mention it is because I’m on a Localhost test server, couldn’t get this to work then realised why. Do’h!

    Just saying … : )

Anyone having this problem should check their spam folder. That’s what was going on for me.
