    Hi Bhaldie,

I’m having an issue with memphis doc at the moment (latest version). I have some specific users that are for some reason deleting other users documents when they try to delete some of their documents. I have tried deleting the user account and recreate a new one while transfering the ownership of the posts but this does not seem to help as well as not transfering the ownership.

    Thanks,

Transferring ownership of the posts won’t do anything for the files. Make sure that the files owner is correct as well as any contributors that the file may have.

The owernership was correct at the time I tried it with the user. When she clicked on delete the file it was another completely different file that was removed. This morning another administrator tried to delete a file for another user and this deleted another completely different file.

Okay I see a bug that is occurring… it has to do with sorting the columns and then deleting. I haven’t figured it out completely yet, but I would recommend for now to hold off on deleting of files until I can fix the problem.

Roger that. I will advise not to delete. Thanks for the quick support.

Deleting with batch suppression seems to work but if I try to delete file from the backend when I click on a file all it does is move the window to the top not deleting the file at all.

sounds like a javascript error. Please open a browser inspector and see if you see any errors.

actually already done that and there is no error in the console. There is also no page reload it just go up to the top of the page.

odd this seems to work perfectly with Firefox. I was trying to delete with chrome and the prompt does not show for the deletion. There must be something in my chrome blocking it.

I known there was some kind of updates for chrome lately for security i wouln’t be suprised if this was part of it. Just let me know when you have a fix i will test again.

I just tested chrome on both Windows and Mac no issues. Please make sure that you have the right javascript file loaded. Clear your browsers cache and try again.
