User defined file access

  • Hello to you,

    i am looking for a plugin which allows me to download files only by certain users.

    So I want to be able to set that file A can only be seen and downloaded by person A and file B can only be seen and downloaded by person B.

    Is that possible with this plugin?

    Hi, maybe you can secure each download file with a specific password. Or you might want to consider installing a membership plugin.

    Thanks for the answer.
    I am aware that I can assign passwords to files, but that does not help me at this point.

    I already use a MemberPlugin (Ultimate Membership Pro) which allows me to allow certain groups access to files. But I need it user specific.

    For example, if I upload invoices, I want only the right customer to download them.
