user data showing dropdown menu not entry

Thanks very much for getting back to me – sorry for the delay in replying to you.
I can find the user in the WP All users view. When I then select edit to view their details it correctly takes me to the fuller data that we have imported but wherever we have a dropdown menu in the User Reg form their individual data shows “select” and the full dropdown list rather than the actual entry. The actual entry is there if we export the persons details so the issue is not that the data isn’t there just that when we view it in the website admin it shows the dropdown menu instead of the data entered.

I have just tested it in my local environment right now and if appears fine. Actually, the select field appears in the user profile but the selected option appears on it. When you click on it then the full dropdown list shows but by default the selected choice is shown.

Please let me know if you cannot see the selected choice by default.

Hi Deepak,

All is good now thank you – the problem was apparently because I selected a couple of users where they had incorrect information in the relevant box, which didn’t exactly match the drop down options – “just” means we need to do some data cleaning.

Currently, the plugin does not have the feature of importing users from spreadsheets. You may use a third-party plugin to do the importing of users.
However, I would like to let you know that we are working on a feature to import users and the feature will be out soon.
We will let you know once the feature is out.

Could you advise me of any 3rd party plugins I could use to import another set of user data into our existing User reg database?
I understand you may not be able to recommend any in particular and you are not responsible for the performance of such software but if you could give me an option or 2 to look at that would be helpful, thank you
