User Dashboard

  • Love this plugin, however I am wondering if there was a way to allow my register users that are contributors the option to make a new post when they are on their mobile devices? I logged in as the admin on my phone can view, read, comment, upload photos etc however there is no where to click make a new post. Is this possible and if so how do I make it available? reason is the majority of my site users are on their mobile devices and would be awesome to allow them the option to be able to make new posts on the go.

  • We’ll look at adding that feature, especially since WordPress is not formatted for mobile devices on the back end.

    Alternatively, you could suggest to your authors to use the native WordPress app for publishing on the go.

    That would be an awesome feature to add. with my site everyone that registers is a contributor so they can add posts, share photos, etc and will show up after the content as been approved. The function when using the site on their smartphones to be able to post a new article/blog would be amazing, since they can already comment and share photos. Just missing that last thing they could do on the go instead of having to use another app to do it.

    There are no available timelines for specific feature development. As this particular request requires significant development, if it is implemented, it would not be expected to be released for some time.
