User Custom Fields – Radio Button function

    I need to add a simple radio Button with two values …. Yes/No but have itndisplayed in the browser with a default of the yes button selected.

    It’s a five second job to do in html but I can’t find any reference or options in any gvectors guidance documentation to create this in the User Custom Fields addon.

    Anyone any thoughts?

    If you use the Users Custom Field addon you should read this documentation:

    All custom fields creating documentation can be found here:
    https://wpforo.com/docs/root/addons/wpforo-user-custom-fields/field-settings/

    You should create a new custom field then add that custom field in your preferred pages: Registration, Profile, Account and Member Search.

    Why do you suggest I read your document when I have already said that your documentation does not provide a solution to the question that I ask?

    Come on gvectors ….. do this support properly, please do not treat your customers like children.

    If this answer is unhelpful for you it means you’re asking your question in incorrect place.
    Why not ask the question in the addon support forum? This is the wpForo support forum. All question related to extensions should be asked in gVectors Support forum. The support team is different there https://gvectors.com/forum/
    Here we support the wpForo free core plugin.

    @gvectors-team I wish it was that simple! I purchased this add-on. I’ve done as you suggest over the last few days. My post in your (green) add-on support forum has been deleted with no response.

    You may well say that you don’t deal with issues on add-ons but as far as I see it you ARE gVectors and if you want to put yourself into a stovepipe then that’s your problem.

    My problem is that I’m a customer of gVectors and you are simply not helping me.

    What would you do about that?

    Let just try to fix the problem. I don’t know how it was deleted, maybe our spam-detecter deleted it. But I ask you again create the support topic in gVectors Forum and I’m going to let gVectors Addon Support staff to care about your issue as soon as possible. The addon development doesn’t have direct relation to the free core plugin development. So the support staff is different too.

    Yes, that is my topic. Which wasn’t there this time yesterday.

    Just as a side-issue. Why didn’t the “We’re-free-wpforo-and-we-don’t-answer-proper-customers-questions” ‘team’ give me that answer rather than trying to fob me off with something we both know isn’t in your documentation?

    Anyway, an answer to my original question …… in the green forum if you like, I’m almost past caring …. would be wonderful ??

    Because there is no positive answer on your question and because we don’t know answers on all addons related questions. Also, in your case there is no such option. You should ask in the gVectors Team forum to let them check and develop it for next version. I just contacted them and they said that.

    They’re trying to help you and creating some code to add in your wpForo installation until the version is not released. So your time and energy is not wasted. Just be patient please.
