User comments not showing up on posts

    I’m using the latest version of WordPress and the Surfarama theme for my blog – https://www.harrietconstable.com. I have a few plugins active.

    For some reason, the comments are not showing correctly on my blog. The comment form is there, but when a user comments only their name shows up – not what they have actually commented, even when I have approved it.

    I’ve checked that comments are allowed on the ‘discussion’ section of wordpress, and have allowed comments on the particular blog post, but it’s still not showing. I’ve also tried deactivating my plugins one by one to see if one of those is the issue but it doesn’t seem to make a difference.

    Help would be hugely appreciated! Thanks
