User comment loop?

  • On my WP site, I would like to enable registered users to be able to comment on posts and or pages. When they go to the post and choose to comment, they are taken to a page telling them they have to login. When they do login, then try to post a comment, they are again told to login. It’s like a loop that you can’t get out of. Am I doing something wrong?

    Currently to solve my problem, I don’t have WP set to require them to login to post, but I would rather have registered users be the ones to comment. Hopefully that will eliminate people using other peoples names.

    Not sure if I explained that right, but I am a 3 day old WP user. Thanks in advance for any assistance.
