User Capability – Edit custom taxonomy

I am using several custom post types for my website and I wanted to ask if it is possible for me to set a user capability to edit specific taxonomies or is the capability “manage_categories” the only one we can use?

For example I have a custom post type “News” which has a category like taxonomy called “type” I would like to set specific users the capability to edit just “types” but nothing more. Right now I can only give them the capability “manage_categories” which gives them access to all my custom post type taxonomies.

Any help would be appreciated.
