User Capabilities

  • Hello,

    Can I make a specific user role (for example- Instructor) capable of adding new h5p content and use them on posts?

    I use learndash and created a “instructor” role who can publish courses on their own.

    Can I make them able to add h5p content from their own dashboard (wordpress default backend)?

    I believe that should be possible, but you may have to use a plugin to manage capabilities and add the permissions to your new role.

    Install the plugin ‘User Role Editor’.
    Create or edit or copy a role.
    Go to ‘users’ > ‘user role editor’.
    Place a checkmark next to: ‘edit_h5p_contents’.
