    Hi,

My client made the switch from Contact Form 7 to WP Forms lite and set up a form. His website allows only those with WordPress accounts to view hence they must log in after creating an account.

There seems to be an issue with the WP Form in that only users with ADMIN rolecan see the form. Customsrs, Subscribers, etc, cannot see the form as it does not display.

Is this by design? Do I haver to upgrade to the PRO version to be able to use WP Forms?

    Don

    Hi @donpro,

    Thanks for reaching out.

This is by design. The Lite version does not currently possess the access controls feature that can help to control and restrict access to user roles.

As the Access Controls feature is part of the paid version of WPForms, could you please drop us a line through our contact page when you get the chance?

You’re welcome to just include a link to this post, if you’d prefer to do that.

I apologize that we’re not able to respond to paid version questions here in the www.remarpro.com support forums for the free version, but I really appreciate your help!

    Thanks ??

    Hi,

You asked me to post to the support forum but we do not yet have a paid version. If I understand your reply, the Lite version cannot be used in a production system because it will not display unless a user browsing the website has an Administrator account and is logged in. This is very restirctive and relegates the lite version as strictly for demos

So, your plugin cannot be truly evaluiated unless I have the paid version which is a bit odd but it’s your plugin. I don’t know what to tell my client, either buy the plugin and take a chance that it will work or look for another plugin that has true Lite and Paid versions.

    Scratching my head,
    Don

    Hi @donpro,

I’m sorry for causing some confusion here.

The form controls that I described earlier only apply if you want to limit access to a form on the backend admin dashboard. It should be possible to create and display the form for both logged-in and non-logged-in users on your WordPress site.

Please go through the following guide for more details about the recommended methods of displaying your form.

    Thanks!
