User can create posts but doesn’t see the Roles

    I have a user role who can create posts. But for some reason the box to check the roles who can see that post is not shown.
    I have toggled many capabilities in your role editor, but it doesn’t get shown.

    What’s the magic trick?

    User should have administator role to set roles.

    I think you’re too quick with marking this as resolved.

    So a post author doesn’t see the Content Permissions box unless he’s the administrator? How does that make sense?

    No, it’s not true.

    I found the setting myself: it’s under Custom / Restrict Content. Just granting that capabilty will do.

    Now you can mark it as resolved.
