User bloked after only one attempt

    Hi,
    I have the following setting:
    Attempts: 20
    allowed retries in minutes: 5
    Lockout duration: 120 minutes
    When user does only one attempt and he does an error in password or username it will be blocked 120 minutes.
    It receives the following message:
    You have reached the login attempts limit. Please try again in 120 minutes.
    But I have setted 5 attemps in 5 minuts… and not 1 attempt…
    Some suggestion about this error?

    Hi, I am stupid…
    I had marked the following option:
    Immediately block IP when attempting to login with a non-existent username
    However I have detected an ERROR. When this option is marked, users are also blocked immediately when attempting to login with a no correct password (and not only with a non-existent username).
    So I suggest to change the description of this option as following:
    Immediately block IP when attempting to login with a non-existent username or a incorrect password.
    In spanish is:
    Inmediatamente bloquear IP al intentar iniciar sesión con un nombre de usuario inexistente o con una contrase?a incorrecta

    Hi giuseppecuttone!

    It should not work this way. The plugin blocks IP as described with attempt to login with a non-existent username. Probably you tried to log in several time before and plugin finally blocked you because the number of attempts reach the limit?
