User Administration

  • When in the dashboard I try to edit the information for one of the users, and it automatically sends me to the “Add New User” page.

    If I try to manually add a user by clicking the “Add new” link, it comes up with this error:

    “Invalid user ID.”

    Any ideas?

  • Weird–might look at checking/repairing your wp_users table via phpMyAdmin.

    Also, do you have any plugins installed, especially any that relate to user roles.

    no, no plugins for user roles. i’ll try to repair the database

    I am having the same problem. When i try to make a new user it will create a user without any credentials that I give the new users (username, first/last name, email, etc). i do not have any plug-ins for user roles and have disabled all of my plugins and tried to make a new user.

    Did you ever find a fix for this? I have updated wp to 2.9.1 and it still doesn’t work.
