User add profile info after register

    Hello
    I have the latest WordPress and I added a profile field so the user had to complete it when they register.
    Now I want several more profile fields added that do not appear on the registration form and the user can complete these after they register from their edit profile.
    Is this possible without a Plugin?
    If not could you please tell me which Plugins will achieve this?

    You will need to either write code or use a plugin to customize the user profile fields beyond the basic WordPress functionality.
