User Account “Does Not Exist” When Adding User as Admin on Second Site

    I currently am a user on Website One with my email. I am logged into the creator’s account for Website Two and I am trying to add myself as an Admin. On Website Two when I enter my email, it says that “The requested user does not exist” even though I do have an account associated with that email. My goal is to be able to access both Websites under one account.

    -Before I Messed with Things and What I Did-

    I was already on Website One with the email when the creator of Website Two added me as a user with that same email but a different user name. This was confusing and I wanted to consolidate so I changed the user account the creator of Website Two created for me to be associated with one of my old email addresses. I thought I could then add a new user to Website Two with the email I use with Website One, but now when I enter the email, it says that The requested user does not exist. I was able to access Website Two from the account with the same email as my account with Website One but now that I changed the email associated with the account, I can’t add another new account with that email.

    I was trying to add new user here: Add Existing User

    Enter the email address of an existing user on this network to invite them to this site. That person will be sent an email asking them to confirm the invite.

    But should i enter the information here and enter in the same username and email as Website One even though that account is already created?

    Create a brand new user and add them to this site.
