    Hi,

When I manually approve an user, wpsecurity sends an email to the user notifying that the account is active.

    1. How can I change the outgoing ‘from’email ID? (The email from which the notification mail is being sent from and the customer sees as ‘from’)

    2. Can I make the email look a bit more beautiful? I want to add a welcome aboard text to it than the plain boring notification.

Can you please guide about how to do the above? Thanks a lot in advance.

    Best Regards,

    Pri

    Hi,

My question is a bit different but your linked post’s feature request is very important as often we do not know if there is pending accounts and an email notification is best.

My question was however more about what the new account user see when their account is approved from the backend. According to your workflow, the plugin generates an email to the email ID of the account holder notifying them that their account is now active.

The only issue is the email ID your plugin shows as ‘sent from’. We need to be able to choose which email ID as most of the time for security reasons, the ID associated with wordpress site is rather kept secret.

Eg: In your emails, you see who sent you the email ([email protected]). We need to be able to customize that ID. You get it ? ??

Hi, the reason why I shared the URL above is for the following reason. This plugin does not manage WordPress e-mails sent to new users registering in a site. This plugin only stops the process of new users registering into a site. It allows the administrators to approve the registration manually. This gives you more control and allows you to prevent any spamming registration from happening in your site.

Let me know if you need more information.

    Kind regards

    Hi,

Thank you for the update. I will positively check out your linked plugin which seems quite good ??

I think your plugin calls the email function of wordpress (or triggers notification email to be sent) to send the newly approved account an email notification? Am I right to assume that your plugin sends 1 email to the newly approved account’s associated email ID?

The moment I approve a user account, an email notification reaches the user. I will investigate deeper on your reply.

Many thanks for taking your time to clarify ??

    Hi,

Am I right to assume that your plugin sends 1 email to the newly approved account’s associated email ID?

As far as I know the plugin only blocks a user from registering via WordPress until you the administrator manually approves the registered user via AIOWPS plugin. Once the user has been approved, WordPress steps in and sends the normal e-mail to the registered user. That is how the plugin currently works.

The plugin I suggested above allows you to customize the e-mail sent to the new user and allows you to use HTML instead of a plain text format ??

Let me know if you need more information or help. If not you can mark this support thread as resolved.
