User access (Editor level)

  • Hi guys,

    I have a demo.domain-name.com website hosted. I have been testing out an Au-pair plugin functionalities on the site and I wish to engage other fellow developers in the further development.

    Basically I want to give them a look and feel of the plugin and have the source hosted on Github.

    I was just wondering, how dangerous is it really to have an Editor username and password published on the site for everyone to use (while testing the plugin)?

    What is the best way to go about giving access to stranger without the fear of compromising your site’s security?
