• With Automatic (WordPress owners) owning WooCommerce I had expected better. However, unlike other plugins, there is no possibility of making changes if you make a mistake when verifying. Happily, there are other good payment gateway plugins. Just save yourself time and get a different one.

    Howdy @reviewssweiver,

    I wanted to follow up on @leoa11n’s advice in the event that you haven’t reached out to us directly for support already.

    WooCommerce Payments is built in partnership with Stripe. If there is a mistake made during the onboarding process—like selecting the wrong country or choosing Individual instead of Business, there are a couple of ways to remedy this:

    1. Contact Stripe directly and discuss the account with them. They can change most of this personal identifying information so that it is accurate.
    2. If there are no live transactions on the account, you can contact us directly and request that we delete the WooCommerce Payments account so that you can start fresh

    It’s also worth noting that we are working with Stripe to resolve some of the pain points that can occur during the account creation process, but I do not currently have an ETA on when those changes may go live.
