Useless Plugin after Facebook changes

Plugin worked fine for over two years. Suddenly over the past month and a half I started noticing that only a few of my posts were showing up on Facebook as Instant Articles. Seeing absolutely nothing wrong with my settings (and checking the page settings on Facebook itself and finding nothing wrong there) I assumed we’d get some sort of update to this plugin. But no. No update, no explanation. Come to find out that Facebook has DRASTICALLY changed their policy for “Instant Articles” and no one (Facebook OR the developers of this plugin) bothered to inform anyone about the policy changes.

This is absolute garbage on Facebook’s end – but no real surprise there since Facebook is a garbage service in general. However, I’m really disappointed in the developers of this plugin for not bothering to update the users or even have the decency to respond to people in the support forum for the plugin. Incredibly sleazy and unprofessional.

I’ve uninstalled this plugin as the “Facebook Gods” have deemed my site is not worthy of their Instant Articles and clearly this plugin has been abandoned by the developers.
