Useless. “Forbidden”.

  • On the checkout page under “Please choose a payment method:”
    there’s only a big error icon with “Forbidden” written below.
    The API keys are correct, etc.

    Did you already apply for a PayPal Plus account and did it gets approved by PayPal Plus? Did you already test it by deactivating all other plugins and using the Storefront Theme?
