• As it states, it only works on new products added after the installation.
Well it also screws up all existing if you ever touch the settings for it after it once has been activated! Meaning, if you disable it for any reason and then enable it again, all products will not calculate any tax any more!!
What’s the point of the plugin if it doesn’t calculate on all products, no matter how old they are in the shop?

    Hey @ewellander

Perhaps there is a bit of a misunderstanding.

With WooCommerce Shipping & Tax, taxes will be calculated for all taxable products in your store, regardless of when they were created.

However, keep in mind that taxes will only be added for orders by customers who are located in your home state (since most online merchants are not required to charge taxes to out-of-state customers — you can read a bit more about that here).

If that doesn’t work for you, please post a message in our support forum and we’ll be happy to assist to see what might be wrong.

    Hi,
Yes perhaps, I just noticed for the second time that when I disabled the automated tax to try some other setting and later enabled it it would not show any different price next to the price without tex (incl. tax) no matter how I changed it.

As of now I’m only selling within my own country (no states within) one tax rate only.

That definitely doesn’t sound right. Can you contact our support team directly by going to https://woocommerce.com/my-account/create-a-ticket/ or emailing us at [email protected]? We’ll want to get some more information from you that wouldn’t be appropriate to share on a public forum. Thanks!
