• Tried it, but the all images menu was missing and it didn’t generate a shortcode. So I was able to generate an image but was unable to use it.
    Tried it with Enfold theme.

    Hello @ger356,

I’m sorry to hear that you had trouble using the plugin. We’d be happy to work with you to figure out what went wrong and get you up and running. The shortcode for the free version of Draw Attention is just [drawattention] or you can use our block editor block to place your image on any post or page.

There are no conflicts with the Enfold theme that I’m aware of.

If you’d like further help, you can post on the forums here or contact our support directly at [email protected] and we’d be happy to help.

    Natalie,
Thanks for reacting. In retrospect, I think I didn’t understood the way your plugin works. I expected that the plugin would change the picture in the media Library, maybe making a copy image in the library that I could use on a page.
I now understand, that the plug in keeps the image with the hotspot within a kind of own library and that you must include that enhanced image on a page or post with a shortcode.
I stopped when I missed the “all files” menu assuming something was wrong. (You know how it is, we always have little time). I now understand that this is missing in the free plugin because the free version can only have one image.
The documentation states that it describes the Pro version, but it wasn’t clear to me what that ment.
It would help people such as me that a looking for a quick fix if there were a few lines that explain how to use the free version and I would add the “all files” menu also to the free version, but restricted to one image.
Anyhow, I have worked around it and have delivered a (less nice) solution to my client.

@ger356 Thank you for your ideas and input. We’re working on a big re-do of the Draw Attention documentation now to make it more user-friendly and we’ll definitely keep in mind that the difference between free and pro should be more clear as well as the process for setting up an image in the free version.
