• Lots of stuff and all is locked, but you can still use contact form. The rest what is advertised is not for free and there is no way to try it.
If you are looking for a survey or a quiz forms, look away. There are plugins with the same options for free.

  • Don’t listen to this guy.
This is the most powerful plugin you can have on a website, if you know how to use it, and you can actually create most locked features by yourself with Actions with some research.

Stop being cheap. If you want something free, develop it yourself – even then you’ll be spending the most valuable thing you have on it: time.

Hi @makas. Sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy your experience with Formidable Forms. We are looking into ways to make it more clear what is included in the free version of the plugin and what requires a premium version.

Our free version does include many of the essential features required to build basic forms, collect and view entries in the admin (which is a feature not offered in many free form builders), and receive email notifications. If more advanced or customized forms are required, a premium version starting at $49/yr would be needed.

Again, sorry that our listing page didn’t make this clear enough. We pride ourselves on having a robust, secure, and functional plugin. We are always using feedback like yours to improve and make our product better. We hope you will consider giving the plugin another try, but we understand if you have found another solution for your needs.

    Thanks again.

There is no clear description of what is free and what is paid. All it say is what this plugin can do.
So yes, you go through plugins like this one in search of a specific function to see if it works for your idea and at the end you end up with lots of paid functions you can’t even test. But that’s not it yet, after every plugin uninstall your WP is left with “garbage” you have to clean to maintain it running smoothly.
So yes again, I’m not happy with misleading description. If stuff is in “free” section and has paid options, it should be stated clearly in the description what is free and what is paid for.
